About Me

Hi, I’m Leia, a passionate graphic designer. Although I was born in Switzerland, I also hold Irish citizenship. Growing up surrounded by stunning scenery and art galleries, I developed a deep appreciation for visual expression from a young age, and my enthusiasm for art has only grown through extensive travels across Europe, the Americas, and East Asia. As I pursued my graphic design journey, I discovered a passion for visual identity, where I love experimenting with typography and design sketches to create storytelling messages that resonate with audiences.

Throughout my degree, I’ve primarily worked digitally, honing my skills with Adobe software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design tools like Blender and Figma. However, I also enjoy hands-on work, exploring disciplines like calligraphy, watercolor, painting, pencil sketching, and various printing techniques. Nottingham Trent University’s graphic design course has allowed me to refine my creative skills, connect with others, and collaborate on projects. As I continue my journey, I look forward to further exploring my potential as a graphic designer in the industry and meeting more wonderful people along the way.
